Humanity chose independence instead of trust. We turned away from God’s leadership and followed our own way. That choice brought selfishness, injustice, pain, and death into the world.

Spiritual powers also rebelled against God, twisting human hearts and corrupting nations. This is why the world is so broken today — wars, depravity, fear, and violence. Deep down, we all sense: things are not the way they should be.

Yet God did not abandon us. He had a rescue plan.

4. The Turning Point:
THE CROSS AND THE EMPTY TOMB

Jesus was executed on a cross. It looked like defeat — but it was His triumph. On the cross, He carried our rebellion, broke the grip of sin and darkness, and opened the way back to God.

On the third day, He rose from the dead. Eyewitnesses saw Him, spoke with Him, and even ate with Him. His resurrection proved He is the true King of the world — stronger than sin, stronger than death.

And His story didn’t end there.

5. The Invitation:
A NEW LIFE UNDER THE KING

After His resurrection, Jesus was exalted as Lord over heaven and earth. He sent His Holy Spirit to help His people live under His reign and share His Good News. One day, He will return to set everything right — to end injustice, wipe away tears, and restore creation.

Today, He invites you to start fresh by giving Him your loyalty. The Bible calls this faith — not just believing with your mind, but trusting Him with your life, following Him as your King.

“Jesus, I believe You are the true King. Thank You for coming, dying for my sins, rising again, and reigning today. I turn from everything that has taken Your place in my life. I give You my loyalty and trust. Be my Saviour, my Lord, and my King. Fill me with Your Spirit so I may follow You, be changed by You, and share Your Kingdom with others until You return. Amen.”
