IT Manager

Position Overview

Grace AG is seeking an experienced IT Manager that will oversee the church’s information technology operations, ensuring reliable systems, secure networks, and effective digital tools that support ministry, administration, and outreach. This role manages a team of IT staff, and leads projects that enhance organizational efficiency, compliance, and church members’ engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and mentor IT staff and outsourced persons, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented culture.
• Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational values.
• Coordinate IT support for staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders.

Infrastructure & Network Support

• Maintain and optimize the church’s network, servers, and hardware.
• Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery systems are in place.
• Oversee IT asset management and procurement.

Software & Systems Management

• Support and enhance existing software platforms, including:
  1. Customer Management System (iCMS) on Odoo (Python-based).
  2. Learning Management System (LMS) for staff and congregation training.
  3. Productivity tools (Microsoft 365, collaboration apps).
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve ministry effectiveness.

Project and Contracts Management

• Lead IT-related projects such as:
  1. Annual Business Meeting (digital systems, AV support, online participation).
  2. Implementation and upgrades of iCMS, LMS, and other platforms.
  3. Compliance initiatives (e.g., Personal Data Protection Act – PDPA).
• Collaborate with ministry and operations teams to align IT solutions with organizational goals.

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for cost-effectiveness, service quality, compliance, and SLA performance.

Strategy, Compliance & Governance

• Core team member of the ABM working committee and serve as secretariat and liaison for the IT Sub-Committee of the Executive Church Board
• Ensure organisation-wide practices comply with PDPA and other relevant regulations.
• Develop and enforce data privacy and cybersecurity policies.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
• Manage and monitor annual IT budgets, expenses and variances.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT management experience, preferably in non-profit or service-oriented organizations.
• Proven or preferred experience with Odoo (Python), LMS platforms, and enterprise systems.

Skills & Competencies

• Alignment with the church’s mission and values.

• Expertise in network administration, system integration, and cybersecurity.
• Project management experience (Agile or PMP certification preferred).
• Budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, vendor and SLA management skills.

• Strong understanding of data protection and compliance (e.g., PDPA), including coordination with DPO and handling audit requirements.

Systems Analyst

Position Overview

Grace AG is seeking a dedicated and skilled Systems Analyst to support and enhance the church’s IT systems and digital infrastructure. This role involves analyzing business and ministry needs, improving system efficiency, and ensuring reliable technology services that support church operations, events, and outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead IT-related projects such as Customer Management System (iCMS) on Odoo (Python-PostgreSQL based)
• Collaborate with ministry and operations teams to align IT solutions with organisational goals
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for cost-effectiveness, service quality, compliance, and SLA performance
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendor to ensure projects meet timelines and objectives
• Assist in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
• Collate requests for enhancement and propose system upgrades of iCMS to Leadership for approval

Software & Systems Management

• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve ministry effectiveness
• Develop applications to support and enhance iCMS’ impact

Strategy, Compliance & Governance

• Contributing member of the Annual Business Meeting (ABM) Committee, assisting with vendor coordination for ABM system requirements
• Ensure iCMS data collection complies with PDPA and other relevant regulations
• Enforce data privacy and cybersecurity policies on iCMS
• Participate in regular audits and risk assessments

Data Management and Reporting

• Manage and maintain data integrity across systems
• Provide and present reports to support decision-making at Board and Leadership levels

User Training and Support

• Provide training and user support for staff, ministry leaders and volunteers
• Develop user documentation and video guides

Qualifications 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in non-profit or service-oriented organizations.
• Proven or preferred experience with Odoo (Python and PostgreSQL), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and enterprise systems.

Skills & Competencies

• Alignment with the church’s mission and values.
• Project management experience in Agile methodology.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, documentation, and training skills.
• Budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, vendor, and SLA management skills.
• Strong understanding of data protection and compliance (e.g., PDPA), including handling audit requirements.
• Keen understanding of Claude AI, Claude Code, Gen AI, and Agentic AI are added advantages.

Country Directors

Responsibilities

• Direct and align all missions works to GM’s strategic thrust in various project focuses, develop strategies and plans for both short-term and long-term missions programmes
• Provide leadership, planning, coordination, execution, and supervision of all GM-directed missions works in the assigned provinces, cities and/or countries
• Liaise and manage existing and new partnership programmes with local and overseas missions partners, churches/denominations, and parachurch organisations/agencies
• Manage the operations of GM’s missions works in the assigned area, including leading in online/onsite missions trips, supervisory trips, training trips, and exploratory trips
• Recommend and submit new project initiatives, oversee successful project implementation and accountability
• Prepare, manage and monitor the annual missions budget and workplan, ensure the goals and objectives are met
• Plan and write training curriculum, teach and conduct training for missions partners, church planters, missions workers, and/or missions trippers
• Recruit, raise, train and mobilise missions trippers, approved trip leaders/trainers, and project managers
• Participate and assist in overall missions awareness initiatives

Requirements

• Is gifted and is called to full-time ministry, loves people, and has a passion for evangelism, outreach, and missions, both local and overseas
• Possess cross-cultural missions experience and exposure
• Effective team leader and player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Has theological training, preferably, from a Pentecostal college and relevant ministry experience
